Hi,

I suppose you had set on your XP pc the extension DBF to VFP. To do this also on your new WIN7 or WIN8 pc:
right click on a DBF file in windows explorer. This will give you a context menu. Here you will find an option "Open with.." The next menu will give you some programs for you to open with and also an option select as default. Again a couple of programs will be presented and if still no Microsoft Visual FoxPro available, you shall have to click on the browse button and find VFP.exe on your pc. Now dont forget to click OK and set the checkbox "always use this program"
Again save and you should be done.

Regards,

Koen
