For most people there's actually no way to step out of the system and not contribute to global exploitation or use any of its benefits without becoming at least a bit complicit in its crimes. Actually there is one way, and that's revolution. Not necessarily a violent one - a massive stepping out of the system would do, but I guess the system would react with violence. Just imagine what would happen if, say, 15% of people started taking every cent they make in cash the same day they got it, keeping a pittance in the bank. My bet is that within three days there would be a way to make that illegal and on day four swat teams would guard ATMs, or the cash would simply not be there anymore.
I can imagine people doing many other perfectly legal things, which, if done in large numbers, would become illegal and/or be met with violence by the system.
