Probably every grandparent says this, but I'll say it anyway:
If you could spend some time with my grandsons - 17 and 15 - you'd be more optimistic about that.
These fellas are kind, generous and devoid of any ethnic prejudices.
I've been with their soccer buddies and have seen the same thing. They compete vigorously, but at the first sign of an injury both teams show concern for the injured player.
Yes, I see many lingering traces of the ME generations in older groups, but these new kids are different, John.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
