Don't agree...

Adding an SSD to a system that doesn't have one is the single biggest performance gain you can add to your system. It's not just your files, it's also Windows and swap files, etc. that are affected. Disk access is a huge bottleneck and SSDs reduce it significantly.

>Yes Samsungs SSD has nice performance. I have checked it. However I suggest that before finally buying the SSD you must check that do you really need it ?
>Check you Task Bar Manager that your Hard Disk Performance is around 80%-100% when you process something.
>If it is not, it is vain to go for SSD.

>However, if you want to use SSD for opening & Saving and editing large size images in Coral Draw or like. SSD is definitely a good option.

>>>I am going to need a new SSD for my laptop. There are quite some price differences when it comes to SATA II or SATA III, and also depending on the brand etc. What I am looking for is fast and reliable and long living. But does it make sense to spend more money or are they all basically the same in the end?

>>My personal opinion, go with the Samsung 840 pro series line. They are fantastic.
>>
>>They are a bit more expensive, but are rated very highly in terms of performance and durability.
