I began work on a lesser version of Visual FreePro (VFrP) today, called Visual FreePro, Jr. (VJr). I made the decision to move forward on this lesser project because I haven't found anyone to help me with Visual FreePro, and the project is simply too large and complex to continue working on it like this piecemeal. It requires full-time dedication, and I am unable to provide it with that attention at present because of having a full-time job, family time, Christian outreach ministries, etc. If any of that changes, I will return to Visual FreePro in its full form.

VJr seeks to be a largely VFP9-compatible version that is designed to only run on Windows, natively. It will not have a virtual machine, the VXB++ language extensions, and most of the features designed for VFrP. It is copyleft-protected open source software, so anyone can take the source code and build from it. It is my hope that once this version gets to a particular level of development, I will be able to demonstrate to other people how to add new functions so we can all work together.
