Visual FreePro is a comprehensive design targeting Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, and Android. It includes a new virtual machine (like Java or .NET), a new compiler framework which is extensible beyond just xbase languages, and a host of new features through a new xbase language called VXB++, and a host of new features through the IDE and debugger including opengl and animation support, something I call "forms mashing", network databases (USE mytable REMOTE 198.2.1.0), and much more.
Visual FreePro Jr. would be little more than an open source version of Visual FoxPro 9 with some features trimmed out, and a few features added in.
>I haven't been following this - so the question may seem stupid - but what's the difference between the two?

>>I am hearing from people that they don't want a version of Visual FreePro which is more or less like Visual FoxPro on Windows. If this is the general consensus, I'll go back to working on the full version of Visual FreePro.

>>Any thoughts?
