I'm currebtly using an VFP app to update a filemaker database using a dsn less ODBC connection
lcFMString = "Driver={FileMaker ODBC};AllAsText=0;ApplicationUsingThreads=1;FetchChunkSize=100;FileOpenCache=0;IntlSort=0;MaxTextlength=255;Host=10.0.1.235;database=Global_Clients;Uid=****;Pwd=****;"
Everything works great except french character such as: éèôû.....
Is there a workaround to this limitation ?
I didn't find any option to include in the connection string such as :
AutoDetectEncoding=No
MultiByteEncoding=UTF-8
They don't seem to work
Any help appreciated.
