The fact that we do not yet understand means we do not yet have enough information. We see only snippets at present. When we gain more knowledge in other disciplines, we're going to find that the answer to these "larger questions" comes in the form of many seemingly disparate disciplines working together, and only then (with input from math, science, astronomy, even our own DNA, as well as books like the book of Numbers from the Bible, which is a large sequence of numbers which stands out so much as to inquire as to why it is there), with everything working together will the answer be found.
This solution, by the way, is the same model that we, as men, are supposed to be pursuing one to another, as per our true purpose. Only when men come together in unity will all of these answers be found. And, there is only one path to that unity.
