> No, this one acts directly upon us ... and there are no do-overs
>I'm pretty sure even God realizes that in SQL Server, you can still even rollback a TRUNCATE during a transaction <s>

While the technical ability definitely exists (both in SQL Server queries, and in God (with regards to people)) ... there also exists a layer of business logic (in SQL Server) which is derived from outside sources which prevent certain technical abilities from being utilized. For example, local and state laws may prevent deletion of any previously created data, but instead the records must be voided and re-issued so as to fulfill the needs of the ordinances, even though the technical abilities indicate the transactions could've been undone (as if they never happened).

Something similar is at work with regards to God and His decrees. It is His Law and His Holy Word regarding people, and our life here on Earth (His creation). He has determined for us how things are to operate. And, being the Creator, He has that right. His ways are only helpful, growing, peaceful, loving, increasing, benefiting, uplifting, embracing, exciting, and built entirely upon truth. All other forms are something else, which means they are founded upon NOT truth, which means falseness, which means they cannot and will not endure.

God has given man everything necessary to escape His Wrath. All any of us have to do is accept it. The ONLY thing that will keep ANY man away from the free salvation He offers, is the man's hard heart, pride, and the choices he makes as a result (to not accept the free gift of salvation).

In short ( http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Hebrews+9%3A27&version=KJV ):
Hebrews 9:27 - KJV - "And it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment."
Hebrews 9:27 - NIV - "Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,"

But those who accept God's free gift of salvation will not be judged, because they have already passed from death to life (born again of the spirit, the only way to enter into Heaven), as it was Jesus who paid the price for their sin when He died on the cross. All people who reject Jesus Christ must pay their own price.
