Once again I have fallen victim to code hidden in the class - I had to 'nodefault' the form keypressed code. However, when I run sys(1016) before and after I create the form it indicates this form is consuming about 1MB of memory. That seems pretty expensive. Does anyone know of a more reliable way of determining how much memory an object takes? and/or is there a way to estimate memory usage based on size of form etc. Some of my users will be on somewhat marginal machines and I don't want to slow them down in an effort to speed things up.
A problem is a problem only as long as it has a possible solution. Lacking that, it becomes a FACT!
