Yes, it is. 19 billions for an app, it is like, outch! CNN had been on it all weekend long. They are also wondering about the same. It is true Facebook wants to take over the mobile messaging market, which is what is missing in Facebook. In the meantime, I got familiar with that app. So, I installed it. On all the exausting list of contacts I have, only 7 are using it. And, I have a lot of contacts from the US. So, is this app containing a mysterious secret because nobody around here uses this app so far. Technology seems to be the big thing here. But, this doesn't add up.

As far as privacy, this seems to be the biggest concern. So, you are right about it. The fact that this app gain access to our contact list and things like that seems to be a gold mine that is what he is looking after. And, yes, too much power and we know where this could lead.
