While not swabian, I stayed away from paid membership as I reasoned that asking about once or twice a year a "professional" motivated question was balanced by the amount of technical stuff I answer besides the more chatter-based stuff to hone english skills. And if Michel asks about something, I always give more consideration compared to even the others where I know the topic lies probably in an area I know something about, as he provides the financial background we post on...
