I hesitate to jump into a discussion that is so..... However, I have experienced a similiar problem with prg files. I was told that once I use the debugger something in VFP goes to lunch and it can no longer use new copies of files. The solution: copy all my prg files to the working directory rather than having a subdirectory. I did this and though I dont like it it seems to work. Perhaps the same may be true with the menu. By the way, working on cars is no solution- they all run on computers now.
A problem is a problem only as long as it has a possible solution. Lacking that, it becomes a FACT!
