I do not understand the relation between a trace and obtaining the graphic showed by the execution plan?

>No, I mean that the DMV hold information only for a certain amount of time (I believe the information is being reset when the server is re-started and may be under some other conditions). So, if you want persistent information, you may want to store the results of DMV into a permanent table.
