Are there any good books that have samples of database designs? What I'm looking for is something that shows a lot of the most common DB applications and how the DB is modeled - actual table layouts, links, etc. I hate to have to reinvent the wheel. Specifically, I'm interested in things like handling an accounting system, the table structures normally used, etc. I don't need to write a full blown accounting system, but I do need to track a lot of the common things so it can be imported into a "real" accounting system (A/R, A/P, Job costing, a G/L, etc.). Any suggestions would be appreciated.
