Due to my weird monitor setup (the right monitor is upright, coordinate alignment by top line) I've found out that my notes file is best served if I edit it in macdesktop, i.e. as a top-level form, so I keep _screen on (almost) whole left monitor, command/tables/properties/document view stacked on top right, and this file on bottom right.

The only trouble is that menu shortcuts don't work in it. Ctrl+v etc doesn't activate anything on the menu, it just inserts a control character into the text. Rightclick menu does work, though. If I click paste in VFP's edit menu, it pastes into the command window if it's on top, or is disabled if not.

I know I can build a top-level form with just "modify file x.x window mytoplevelform.name" would do the trick. Just asking if there's some simpler trick I don't know of.
