My old macros for Excel 2003 work in Excel 2010. The potential problems are the other way; that is, if you use new features in Excel 2010 - or new commands, by saving macros in Excel 2010 - some parts may be incompatible with earlier versions. For example, I had problems with colors: Excel 2010 supports rgb() colors, while the older version only uses a 56-color palette (and colors are selected by a number from 1-56). However, once I used the old commands, they continue working in Excel 2010.
