I think something is dreadfully wrong with my computer. When ever I use CREATEOBJECT(...) on a COM object created in VFP 6.0 (SP1), I get the following error:

OLE error code 0x80040154: Class not registered

If I issue the same CREATEOBJECT() command again, I am kicked out of VFP with no error messages or warnings. I even created a simple project with one OLE custom class with one method to return DATETIME(), and I still get the error.

I tried using CreateObject in VB 6.0 (SP1), and I get a similar error. I tried using RegSvr32 to register the DLL manually (no luck!). I thought maybe unistalling Visual Studio and reinstalling it would help (nope!).

I am out of ideas. The next thing to try would be to reformat the hard drive and start over. I really do not have time for that! BTW, I have Windows NT 4.0 (SP 4). Any ideas are welcomed!
