I fully agree, those scientific studies often have an agenda, and they must have, because someone must have paid for them. Back in the 70s there was a scientific study made that proofed beyond the shadow of a doubt that smoking is not unhealthy after all. The study was signed by Dr. Marlboro. :)

This idea of being born that way is just misused as an excuse for people who want to justify their own actions. There is always a certain percentage of exceptions, and a lot of personal situations that are all very individual. But just saying you are born with it and you don't have a choice is like smoking pot recreational because after all, marihuana has a lot of medical applications. But those actions do have an impact on society, some on the short term and some on the long term, if they want to admit it or not. We have a lot of issues here in the Caribbean with broken families, unstable homes, rising crime, child abuse and std's. As I said before, my personal opinion is that it is wrong to hate any person for their orientation, but it is dangerous to push or justify homosexuality and to find an excuse for these choices. Many catholic priests (who are now suddenly all born with it?) did have a choice and they must stand trial for those choices. To have an attitude of saying that animals do the same thing and that after all that is their orientation cannot be used as an excuse, although that is exactly the way how the catholic church wants to handle this situation. I understand that this is an extreme case of abuse, but an example for how orientation and desire alone cannot be used as justification. And the argument that you can do whatever you want as long as you don't impact the freedom of somebody else is a purely religious argument and it does not have any place in a society that believes in evolution. In fact, which is quite funny, it is a Christian doctrine that is based on the Bible, and most other societies do not entertain this thought. It is pretty much ingrained in our Western society and we take it for granted. Besides of this, who knows which impact the actions of today will have on the society of tomorrow, you must be born with a prophetic talent in order to discern that. But then after all, you would be born with that talent.
