I saw you make this statement and it really does not make sense to me. Most people up here are convinced that sexual orientation is something you are born with it. But as opposed to the other side of the atlantic, there is no political controverse nor debate here. Perhaps the odd fundamental Christian parties here and there in Europe, but I really can't see for what political purpose this conclusion is being used.

I suspect that this subject has been used/misused in the eternal war between democrats and republicans that made you draw this conclusion, but that does not fly around here.

So it leaves me stumped, in what way such a conclusion can be politically motivated.
