Before the flood.

Our "science" tells us that 65 million years ago there was a mass extinction, and that all of the fossils we find today are from that period. Well, what if the dating technology is wrong and it is really only some 4,000+ years ago? No one was around back then. We have mountains of evidence which demonstrates that carbon dating today is not always accurate. Why do we assume that the technologies used for our "millions of years ago" estimate is valid? Nobody was around back then to verify that "report X is accurate," it is all based on assumption and conjecture, and not fact.

Consider also from the point of view of there being a true God, and there being an enemy at work against God (the enemy of which uses men's thoughts, flesh-based reasoning not based upon the spirit, to try to convince men about a particular thing), that it would make sense for such an enemy to distort timelines, and grab hold of theories which have not proved out over time.

If you watch that Programming of Life video I linked, you'll see what Information Science is telling us about the nature of the inner workings of a cell. It has absolutely proven that such a thing as evolution is a total impossibility given the wide array and scope of life. The variances in information contained within the DNA, even though life is still based upon the same fundamental set of chemicals, is what makes life unique, and that information contains such incredibly complex sequences which operate in ways we still don't understand, but from what we do understand it demonstrates an intelligence beyond anything we possess to the extreme. The complexity is comparable to the size of the universe ... something we cannot possibly fathom because it's so far outside of our scope of reason ... the amount and diversity of information contained within DNA to make all life on this planet is commensurate.

I know who God is, and that He is Truth, and that He does not lie. He has told us the truth about all things that are necessary for us to find Him in this world, and to be saved by coming to repentance and accepting the sacrifice of His Son. And for those things we do not yet know, He has promised us that on the other side we will see all things clearly, and there will be nothing withheld.

The life we live here is a proving ground, to determine who we are, what we'll follow, whether or not we will seek the truth, or if we want to be rebellious and pursue our own personal interests. God created everything, and He creates everyone, and He leaves His stamp on everything such that the more we find out about things the more we see Him manifest before our eyes, and HE calls out to them continually saying "I am here, and I have everything to give you, if you'll only receive me."

Those who receive, who recognize their condition as sinners (having violated God's own Law), and who repent and believe upon Jesus Christ are saved. The rest are not.

I testify as to the variation between my life before being a believer, and my life after. I am a blood-bought servant of Jesus Christ upon this world. From what He has revealed to me thus far, I speak. And I am on the journey of moving toward Him with the fulness of my life (online, and daily involving people).
