Suggestion - read in this order....
We The Living
Fountainhead
Atlas Shrugged
Just read Atlas last. It is a great novel with some great story lines (the character of Ragnar Danneskjold, the famous train ride scene with Dagny and Rearden), but in the end it's essentially a political novel. Not that I don't love it, but We the Living and Fountainhead are better novels.
Avoid "Anthem"....it's a mini-novel really geared more towards teens. Not that there aren't some great lines, but it's more for teens.
Since I know your tastes run towards the literary, you might like her non-fiction book, "The Romantic Manifesto". It's an interesting read.
