The index on the field are pretty much instant. It is the compount indexes that we have on some of them, like 20 indexes with multiple fields and a bunch of included fields. Those may take from 2 to 5 minutes each.

>Just an observation - it sounds like you could be in overdrive on what you're doing with your transaction tables, and might want to think about a data mart. (Not saying it would solve all issues, but something to at least consider).

Could you exlain more about this?
