Try a simple test in VFP. Open a table in the Data Sessions window (I will call it table1). In the Command window type:
create report report1 from table1
modify report report1
Now in the Report Designer try to Print Preview, and then Print. If the system still freezes, it has nothing to do with your program.
Next try connecting a local printer to your LPT1 and have it set as your default. Then again try the commands above (substituting report2 and a new table). Does the system still freeze?
Let me know what happens. By the way, Epson is made by HP.

>>does it only happens after Report Preview? Do not understand what "system all down" means. Does it freeze, get a Protection Page Fault, or something else? Give me a more detail about what goes wrong in Preview.

>>If you get a Protection Page Fault, then Erik is probably correct. There is a known problem with Hewlett Packard (HP) Print drivers (MS Article Q183522). I have read on the Universal Thread that you can try a print driver for the HP 4 series.

>>I had some print problems that were not HP related. Could not even do a "create report" in the Command Window. I run Win95 and print over a network. I solved my problem by capturing my network printer to LPT1.
