Unreservedly. When you begin by recognizing that God is the author of life, then the rest becomes academic. That child did nothing to warrant being murdered. The actions of the rapist are the criminal ones. The mother is the victim. The child is a precious gift from God, a new life given unto the mother and her family.

Sin is the cause of these kinds of problems. God is the solution to sin. People continue to sin because men do not seek God, and things like rape continue to occur because other men who do not do such things still resist God being involved with their life. Their sin is no different than that of the rapists, except that their sin does not produce a baby in the process, yet all of it is of the same kind: leading toward death.

Our flesh only seeks after sinful things. It has lusts, wants, desires, to satiate self even at the expense of others. It is only God's Spirit, His Holy Spirit, that guides men rightly, and that alone. It is only because of God's common grace in our lives that we do have love for our children, and do desire to do the right things for those closest to us. But God is greater than that, and His vision extends out to all men, and the things He draws those who follow Him toward are of these ways, and for all people (not just those closest to us). We love our neighbors as ourselves.

God's Holy Spirit alone is what gives life to men, and lights their ways. All other paths are false, and lead only to destruction in the bowels of Hell.

It is why only those who are born again will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, because only they have real life in them, the gift given them by Jesus Christ through His atonement of their sin at the cross. He took our filthiness away, and gave us in exchange His righteousness, His eternal life. Everyone else is still dead spiritually, seeking only after the flesh, and when God's Holy Spirit is pulled back in the end-most times the wickedness of men will rise to such an extent that it will be visible for all to see how influential His common grace has been since creation. Man's true nature, with God's restraining spirit pulled back in the days of wrath, will reveal the true wantonness of man. It will be the darkest period in our history, as it reveals the full extent of the nature of sin.

Jesus offers all men a way out from what's coming. It is a free gift, given unto all who will receive it.

I had someone yesterday tell me that Christianity is evil because "unless a person believes in Jesus they will be sent to Hell." That thinking is backwards. All men will go to Hell because of sin. Period. What Jesus offers is the way out of that state, the one that all of us exist in. All men will enter into Hell unless they are born again, unless they accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ at the cross to atone for their sins, being changed as per His free gift.

Jesus is the world's savior. There are none too far away from Him to save. He is able to save to the uttermost. He calls all men to repentance, that they too, all of them, might hear His call, come out, and be saved.

Jesus is amazing. Beyond words amazing. I stand and testify to His sheer beauty, His greatness, His purposes in our lives which lead only toward prosperity and growth, and of such a kind that it will never end. We will blaze like stars forever. So beautiful.
