There's a Window's event that fires when a new file is created. I'm not sure if it fires on first creation or when it's closed. Binding to that event is better than watching a folder for a new file.

>I have a file which is being uploaded into a FTP server. Lets say it is 1 MB. So, the file is being created at first and then the FTP server will add new content as the file grows. While it grows, what is the last update value of the file. This is regards to loFile.LastWriteTime. If I do a directory lookup, will that value change every second until the file is completed which would then give the actual timestamp of the last second the transaction took to complete it?
