>>After a few zillion inquiries he finally complies with the rules here. But have you visited Foxite lately? He treats it as if it's his own church.

>Well he has obeyed the rule here for a long time. iro Foxite - no I don't visit that VFP site very much but I saw the link from Thomas(?) and can see what has happened. That is, of course, not OK but really the same response applies - no one forces you to read his posts. But if the site rules say "no" then one has to abide by them. Eric has made his ruling.
For a while I tried visiting Foxite, but gave up mainly for two reasons. First, the interface is unwieldy, you never know where you are in a thread, so I've read the same message three times or skipped four messages and had to go back to find what was the next one after the one I've just read. And the speed wasn't too great, so the whole setup was rather annoying.
The other reason was that there was a guy, of about 0,1 Ricks in weight, who had a very religious tagline... and Foxite keeps the taglines inside the messages. While I regularly cut that out when responding to him (and I now have about 20+ years of "trim your quotes" discipline), others didn't when replying to his replies to me, so what I wrote frequently flowed close to his message. There are people I'd never want to be seen (or worse, photographed) with, and this was nearly the same - I didn't want my words mixed up in the same hodgepodge with a plain religious message. Sounds like I'd be condoning a propaganda. So I stopped visiting Foxite.
