Have you tried using VBA from another application (like Excel) to see whether the problem is with Word 2013 or with the code you're using?

For that matter, have you tried experimenting from the VFP Command Window? That's my favorite way of figuring out automation issues.

One more thought. What does the Save As say it's trying to save? Is it a Word format issue, perhaps?
