I'd like to control updates of my apps on my customer's computers. For example when customers uses an application I want it to be possible to update or not his application automatically. For example update if payment was made.

There could be many things associated with that kind of control. I guess that something like that could be possible to do with a web framework like West wind. Are there alternatives?
