I think that, for UT adherents, the rumour *IS* dead. The problem seems to be that something outside, possibly sometimes even from MS itself, keeps resurrecting it.

It is virtually impossible to quell it and, unfortunately, many many who hear it and who are in control of future direction, seem to take it seriously and start the process of moving *away* from VFP.
