I used to prefer Garamond for my personal use, but then I discovered it's a tad wider. Which, in the long run, means that it uses a (probably single-digit) percentage of paper more than a narrower font. I think cutting on verbosity would be more efficient. And, ah, printing less, of course. I actually print very little, perhep a dozen sheets a year. And even then I find I shouldn't have printed it, as by the time I need that paper, it's already obsolete.

Printing less doesn't get you much of a saving nowadays, as the software in the printer will declare your ink as "expired" after some time, regardless of how much you printed.
