How should I know what you OS run or not and if it works for you why do not simply state "With me it runs fine without any adjustment?" Fine then. Thank you for the time I have spend to a superfluous answer.

All adjustmenst I have done till now are :
-comptiblity mode, because it renders ugly. Strange frames on moving forms on all my Win 8.1 machines. It RUNS without it but - ugly. Sometimes problems with high DPI displays and report engines.
-whatever you think is needed to get anything running in Home(1) that will run in XP and not in Win 7 or 8

The thread I mention goes somewhere into problems of Win 8.1 - I have had no time to search it for you. No fun on my droid. I just remembered it. Beg your pardon.
As far as I remember this thread is about the question going from XP to Win 7 or Win 8* and I mention that Win 7 will have the same problem.

lmgtfy is literally. I need to search it.
It's a pain to translate Win UI notions back to english and I will not do it over and over.
It's there somewhere in the last months.
UT has a search button. What do you think what I do linking messages where I put the information?
It's never wrong to google first. :)

War mir ein Vergnügen.

>You assert "VFP needs small adjustments, but that's one time."

>Your example HOME(1) is not specific for Win8.
>And finally you point to a thread where a developer askes if Win7 is causing his problem.

>>Unable to write to HOME(1) etc. (as with Win 7) so for some stuff you have to work around. I, for example, have additional wizzards to will not install with the prg's provided.
