I have an app using gradbuttons. "Suddenly" (nobody will admit they changed the environment) we have the following problem onXP stations:

The first time the app starts and makes a GDI call to display a jpg, there is an error in the .beforedraw resulting from the graphic not being loaded. After enough ignores, one gets the buffer overrun error.

Now before jumping in to say that is an error for which there is a patch, here is the story:

1. The run time vfp9r and vfpenu are confirmed as the latest versions 9.00.7423

2. The error only occurs on each station if the app is run from a network drive. IOW let's say station ABC has a local C: drive and a mapped H: drive. Same exact files and same exact structure within app folders gives no error running from c: and error running from h:

3. Previously the app ran for several weeks with no errors; it is undetermined what changed.

4. No errors from Win 7 stations.

5. GDIplus.dll on XP is latest, from memory I think 5.2.xxx. Tried using the 5.1.x latest from VFP with no success.

6. The graphics files/pics themselves have not changed ever.

OK, now hit me - what am I missing?
