>>Some indication of a DLL / ActiveX or Class that makes encryption of dbf tables from VFP?

You can encrypt field content easily enough, but if you want to encrypt the table, the dbf is not a good choice. If you've used local views it should be easy enough to offer something like SQL Server Express that is free for smaller customers, or SQLLite that is about as easy as a dbf to maintain if you can get away with it.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
