You can also move your application to a Web server using, for instance, FoxInCloud

In a Web server architecture, because user actions go through HTTP, users can no longer access the database folder, only the Web app can.

From our clients' experience, moving a VFP application to the Web takes far less time than moving to a SQL database.

Of course I have nothing against SQL database - I just try to widen your choice
