On command line enter:
help debugger
double click "Debugger window" (topmost)
double click "using the debugger" (second)
read.
Later, on the place where you put a messagebox, enter:
SET STEP ON
Now you can run your code step by step using the [F8] key or by clicking one of the nice little buttons on toolbar.
Check vars etc.
Can you kill the process with task manager?

>It does the CLEAR EVENTS and the THISFORM.RELEASE, and then the program ends.
>Except that... the EXE is still running when I get back to the desktop.

>Thanks for the comeback, Tamar.
