I've tried what you suggested Naomi, and still the problem persists.
I'm thinking that this is something ELSE.... maybe a property or setting that is set incorrectly in the form or elsewhere.
(I've compared my form properties to those of other apps and they compare.)

I'm convinced it's something OTHER than the coding. As a reminder.... it works without problem in development mode.
It works as an exe also, but after running the exe the app is still active (not active after running in development mode.)

I've run the exe, done the task manager, and I see the exe listed (and it won't let me delete it). Then I've run the exe again,
and when I check task manager, there are TWO iterations of the exe that are active.

The bummer is that I have to reboot every time to try something new... and of course... that takes forever.

I've tried everything that I can think of... sure it'll turn out to be something really SIMPLE.
