It is possible you are calling a modal form, then READ EVENTS?

If so, the app will execute until you hit the modal form. When you close the form, the program will continue onto the READ EVENTS. Your CLEAR EVENTS has already been executed, so the program just hangs there.

If so, take out the READ EVENTS
