I created a new form, changed the main program to DO the newform,
All that was on the new form was an Exit cmd button that released the form and cleared events.
After the read events in the main program, I had the quit.
Compiled it... ran it... same thing... cursor with hourglass... program still running... had to reboot again.

My form is in modal mode (though not sure what that even means). My config.fpw contains a SCREEN=OFF.

I really believe there's something ELSE going on in the environment.... some setting or property.
