Do we like it?

Yes we like it. The power of the subreport has allowed us to do unthinkable things. We design a report and then we use the CRPE to make alterations to the report. Moving data tables, Hiding Groups, Adding Page Breaks, and Changing fonts.

We do wish we could add fields on the fly but it doesn't look like that is going to be an option.

The design interface leaves a bit to be desired. It is difficult to put objects on the report at a given coordinate. I have heard from support that this will be available in 7.0. 7.0 looks to me like a bunch of web stuff that we don't need. So I don't know if we will rush to get it.

We really wish that the subreports were objects. They are not. If I put a subreport into several reports and then want to change something on the report, I have to do it in each copy. This has created alot of work for us.
