Three of my favorite series are Monty Python (of course), Black Adder, and Absolutely Fabulous.

On Black Adder, the fourth season (set during WW I) is definitely the funniest. I've watched each of the Season 4 episodes at least a dozen times. The episode where they go over the top at the end of Season 4 was very powerful.

Honorable mention for Jeeves and Wooster - it's only mildly funny, but I'll watch just about anything with Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry in it.
