All problems will eventually resolve itself with or without our intervention.... of course, the outcome *may* not be to our liking. Say for example, you contract a disease. If you do nothing, you get sicker and eventually die -- at which point, the disease is no longer a concern for you -- problem solved! Factories polluting the environment will negatively affect humans -- which in turn will likely cause the demise of humans -- which in turn means the factories eventually come to a grinding halt (because no one is operating nor maintaining the machinery) -- which means no more pollution from the factories -- Problem solved!
