I am using the VFP Walkthru to add publishing of a web service to my application. I develop and maintain my app from my home office on a laptop. My application runs on a server at a client site. I have 16 installations. I want to allow other systems to perform 2 simple tasks on my database. My application is like banking software. I want other systems to use web services to get an account" balance. I understand that I use IIS to setup a virtual directory and then how to use the foxpro IDE to publish my COM server to that virtual directory. What I do not understand is how I deploy this. When running at facility A the virtual directory that my web service would be running in is some directory on the server at that facility, NOT on my development laptop. When running at facility B it may be a completely different virtual directory. I just do not understand how to publish my web service at each facility. I should mention the database for each facility is on the local server at that facility. There is no data stored on my development environment. Can someone help understand how this works? Thanks, John
