Depending on how the 3rd-party DOS/USB printing utility works, one thing you could try would be to install the printer again, so you have 2 copies of it. One using the 3rd-party utility, one without it. Then try testing to the 2nd copy of the printer.

If that works you will then be able to print from either your new VFP app or the old Clipper one, just by specifying the printer.
