I'm trying to use the FileUpload control to upload files. I created a very simple ASP.Net webform, following examples from the web, including MSDN examples. The form has the FileUpload control, a label and a button. I can execute the form and select a file but as soon as I click on a button, even with no code in the click method, I get an error that the web page cannot be found. It seems to be trying to reconnect to the web somehow. Is this because it's a web server control? What do I need to do to make this work? Is there a better way to handle this?
I need to allow an administrative user to import data into tables when starting up a new job in the system.
