Lots of money at stake, lawyers will get inventive e.g. recovery of 2.5M fine, recovery of difference between forced team sale price and sale price on the open market etc.
It's interesting that the US Government can't prosecute or fine Sterling for his opinions and speech, but the NBA can. He must have signed some waiver when he bought the team. Sports team owners tend to have large egos and strong opinions, it's interesting they would do something like that.
As for the Time piece: When will opinion writers learn to stop ruining their pieces by using "We need to ..." ? AFAIK KAJ isn't even royal.
