This is a gut reaction, and one I've not taken the time check. I'd say probably not anything that would amount to something significant. One of the reasons that I think this is that the controls on VFP forms (with the exception of ActiveX controls) aren't standard Windows objects, and my hunch is that they use less in terms of resources than they would otherwise.

Personally, I think that minimizing a form before hiding it would be esthetically unattractive. But that's just IMO.
