This is something I have argued with his supporters over for years. I've been fine with gay marriage all my life. Obama only started because of political expediency. And if you really want to see Obama's political expediency in action, look at his voting record and public statements (and the legal letters his wife sent out) on late term and even partial birth abortions when he was in the Illinois Senate.
Yes, people can change their views on things. My views on capital punishment are changing a bit because the # of erroneous convictions. But it's another to shift to attract votes or to curry favor
