From my very limited experience I think you're right, French people, including French women don't get too worked up about stuff like this.
Last I heard, in North America university/college enrollment is something like 60% women, and climbing. Dunno what the ratio is in STEM. Still, as time goes by more women will move into positions where they can influence purchases of products like WinDev.
As a side note, I've heard some young women are concerned about the growing female enrollment in higher education. Especially, those who go to college to get an MRS ;)
