Actually, if you read the contents of your 2nd link, and go back and read one of my paragraphs, you'll note they both cover the same thing (the rollback and logging issue), though obviously the link covers the details of the log sequence numbers and operations going on under the hood

BOL reference is usually good as a reference. But it won't always cover the nuances. And besides - you never know when you might be asked the question away from the online world and there's hope you'll have an answer. So it's good to keep in practice. :)
